Bodycam FAQ

Quick answers based on current official pages.

Yes. Steam lists Bodycam as Early Access, and the developer says the period may last several years.

Read details

The current primary evidence is PC/Windows through Steam; console and VR availability is not confirmed here.

Read details

The true body-camera view, reduced HUD, physical weapon handling, and sound propagation make positioning and listening central.

Read details

No. Bodycam is not a hero shooter: there are no operators with unique abilities, and the “operators” sold in the shop are cosmetic skins only. Your loadout and attachments are what change how you play.

See the loadout page

The v0.8 update added a loadout system, attachment customization, new equipment, and the Trenches update path.

Read details

Read the loadout mechanics page before using version-dated community recommendations.

Read details

No. The studio has never published a tier list. v0.8 rebuilt every weapon and around 400 attachments, so the strongest pick depends on the range you fight at, the map, and what you can actually control. The community often names the M4, SCAR and KA-74, but that is player consensus, not official data.

Pick by situation

The modes we can confirm right now are Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Gun Game, Wingman 2v2 and Versus, plus offline Zombies. Bodybomb is retired after v0.8. Check the in-game description before you queue.

In the Lobby. Since v0.8 you do not land on the old main menu: you spawn straight into the shooting range. Test guns, tune your loadout and read the tablet there, then queue when you are ready.
