Bodycam Multiplayer Gameplay: What 3 Hours of Raw Footage Shows video

iulyan uploaded “Bodycam - PC Live Multiplayer Gameplay [4K UHD 60FPS]” on August 24, 2026. It runs 3 hours and 22 minutes. Its value is precisely that nothing was cut: how long matchmaking takes, how much the camera shakes, whether maps repeat, and how many people are actually online all survive into the final video. If you are deciding whether to buy, this is closer to what you will experience than any highlight reel.

Get the version right first

The recording was uploaded on August 24, 2026, nine days before v0.8 Locked & Loaded. The studio released that free update on September 2, 2026 (the announcement states 17:00 UTC). It added the structured loadout system, around 400 attachments, six new or returning weapons, stress-driven reload animation, the tactical tablet, FPV drones, RC cars, the Trenches map, Wingman 2v2, rebuilt audio, and Reissad Points progression. Everything on screen here, from the interface to the loadouts to the progression, predates that.

So what this footage can tell you is whether the basic body-camera feel works for you. It cannot tell you how v0.8 plays. For that, use the Locked & Loaded update page.

Three things raw footage shows that highlights never do

First, matches have a lot of downtime. A highlight reel keeps only the firefights, but raw footage is mostly listening, flanking, waiting for teammates, and reloading. Bodycam reloads and movement are deliberately slow, so the rhythm is completely different. If you are used to fast shooters, this is what will push you away first.

Second, the camera shake is constant. Standing, walking, and getting hit all move the frame. The video description even warns headphone users that the game can be loud, because the audio is part of the experience rather than background. Some commenters call it a motion-sickness simulator; others reply that they have never felt sick. That depends on the person, not on the game being broken.

Third, performance problems never appear in edited clips. Viewers point out that even on a high-end machine the footage still hitches and drops frames; others counter that the maps have so little interactive content that it runs smoothly precisely because of that. Neither claim can be settled from a video alone, but it is a warning: confirm your own machine holds a stable frame rate instead of imagining it from a 4K upload.

Why the comment section splits in two

We captured 160 comments on this video. The top one, with 97 likes, calls Bodycam the benchmark for every shooter to come, from Call of Duty to Battlefield to Counter-Strike. Underneath it, the whole argument plays out:

  • Realism camp versus fast-pace camp. The objection is that fast shooters are a different genre and cannot simply adopt this system. The reply is that animation and detail work is genuinely worth borrowing.
  • The VR crowd. A comment with 60 likes wishes this could reach next-gen VR, and another adds that VR needs strong titles before headsets sell. That is a player wish, not a studio plan.
  • People waiting for the update. A 30-like comment says this is still pre-September-update footage, so imagine it after. The audience reads the footage through the version timeline too.
  • Player-count anxiety. A 15-like comment says there are too few people and it feels like playing bots. We do not print a specific concurrent number because it cannot be checked reliably.
  • Art direction. Some worry that if every game chases the same UE5 photoreal look, we lose the artistry of something like Ghost of Tsushima. That is a taste debate, not a Bodycam criticism.

What reviewers and players say

  • Gaming Age, in its September 11, 2026 PC impressions, calls the Trenches map more realistic than anything else in the game and names the stress system as the most interesting addition, scoring it 8/10 overall (technical 10/10, content 6/10). That is a reviewer’s view.
  • The guide site dtgre described v0.8 on September 7, 2026 as a rebuild of weapons, animation, audio, progression, menus, and multiplayer, and mentions Wingman 2v2, Reissad Points, and host migration. The direction matches the official announcement, but treat the details as second-hand and the Steam notes as canonical.
  • Steam review data (September 15, 2026 snapshot): 62,982 reviews, 50,365 positive and 12,617 negative, about 79.97%, rated “Mostly Positive”. The most-liked positives praise gun audio and immersion; the most-liked negatives cite the small player base, weak matchmaking, and removed content.

How to use the footage to judge yourself

Do not ask whether the game is good. Answer three concrete questions instead:

  1. Watch 10 straight minutes without skipping. If the listening, waiting, and slow movement read as boring rather than tense, the loop probably is not for you.
  2. Watch five minutes muted, then five with sound. A large part of Bodycam’s information comes through audio. If you will not use headphones, the experience drops noticeably.
  3. Accept the small player base up front. If matchmaking speed is your top priority, wait and watch Early Access. If the loop itself pulls you in, a shrinking population is not a refund reason.

Once you are sure, start with the beginner guide, which covers the camera, sound, and first-session flow before weapons and loadouts.

A note on what is not claimed

The recording is a 4K stream VOD, so what you see is unrelated to your own hardware; we do not derive system requirements from it. Official requirements are on the release and platforms page. The channel has no captions and we hit an IP block while fetching them, so there is no transcript here; we used the title, description, and public comments only. View, like, comment, and Steam review figures are a September 15, 2026 snapshot. For weapon comparisons see Best Weapons, and for the attachment system see Weapons and Loadouts.
