Bodycam Locked & Loaded Update
What the Locked & Loaded update changed in Bodycam, and what returning players should rebuild first.

Bodycam v0.8 Locked & Loaded released on September 2, 2026. It was a systems update rather than a small weapon drop: loadouts, attachments, the tactical tablet, animation and sound work, new gadgets, and the Trenches direction all affect how older guides should be read.
What changed
- Loadouts and attachments: choose primary, secondary, melee, throwables, and gadgets before a match. Parts can change handling, recoil, sound, and capacity.
- The tactical tablet: manage equipment, settings, progression, servers, and modes in the game world. It does not pause the match.
- Stress-driven handling: reloads and physical weapon movement vary with pressure and action state, so rushed reloads are a real risk.
- Modern tools: FPV drones and RC cars add scouting and distraction, but the operator still needs cover.
- Trenches: tight trench routes sit beside exposed areas, making indoor and long-range choices matter in the same match.
Rebuild your first session
- Spawn in the shooting range and inspect the tablet before queueing.
- Test one primary for three matches and note recoil, reload exposure, and sound.
- Learn a safe entry and retreat route on Trenches before changing your weapon.
- Recheck graphics and input settings after the new lighting, sound, and animation changes.
The official developer diary is the visual companion for this page. Use weapons and loadouts for the system details and best weapons for conditional choices.
