Bodycam modes fall into two broad groups: objective modes, where the team wins by controlling or completing something, and firefight modes, where the match is mainly about winning engagements. The official game materials list Body Bomb, Hardpoint, Gun Game, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Wingman, and Zombies. Names and rules can change during Early Access, so check the in-game description before queueing.

Objective modes

Body Bomb

Treat the objective as a reason to move together. One player works the objective while teammates watch the likely entrances and the flank. Defenders should avoid stacking every player on the same spot; leave someone watching the approach that attackers are most likely to use.

Hardpoint

Hardpoint pulls both teams toward a fixed area. Rotate before the zone changes, clear the next entrance, and use a close-range weapon inside the room only if your team can cover the open route to it.

Firefight modes

Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch are useful for learning recoil, audio, and reloading without carrying a complicated objective. Practice firing from one angle, then moving. Do not carry that reckless rhythm into Body Bomb.

Wingman and Zombies

Wingman is a 2v2 search-and-destroy style fight. Communication and the first clean pick matter more than a long kill streak. Zombies is cooperative survival: stay close, protect the retreat route, and manage ammunition instead of sprinting into the next wave alone.

Which mode should you choose?

Start with Deathmatch to learn the camera and weapon feel. Move to Team Deathmatch to practice crossfire. Try Body Bomb or Wingman when you are ready to communicate around an objective. Choose Zombies when you want slower pacing and resource pressure.
